1. Overview & Scope

EasyLoan Financial Services ("EasyLoan", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and security of our clients' personal and financial data in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of the Republic of Ghana.

2. Information We Collect

When you open an account or apply for a credit facility, we collect and verify the following information:

  • Account & Profile Details: Full legal name, active telephone number, email address, and residential details.
  • National Identity & Biometric KYC: Photographs of the Front and Back of your Ghana Card and a live camera selfie used to perform automated 1:1 biometric facial matching.
  • Contact Book Verification: Emergency and reference contact names and phone numbers synced via your device phonebook, Google Contacts authorization, or uploaded vCard (.vcf) directory for credit underwriting and borrower reachability.
  • Transaction & Wallet Records: Voucher/Token codes, loan application history, account ledger balances, and Mobile Money disbursement details (MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, or AirtelTigo).

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To verify your identity and prevent impersonation or fraudulent loan applications.
  • To assess credit eligibility, process Starter Personal Loans, and validate Instant Voucher Claims.
  • To disburse approved loan funds directly to your registered Mobile Money wallet.
  • To contact you or your verified emergency references in the event of an overdue repayment or account inquiry.

4. Data Protection & Storage

All identity documents, biometric verification images, and contact lists are transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in restricted administrative databases. We do not sell or rent client data to third-party marketers. Access is strictly limited to authorized underwriting and compliance personnel.
